InetDaemon,
It's people like you that make this world truly a pleasure to live in. I am now forced to learn about computers and networking due to my family having constant computer issues. I have decided to learn as much as possible, and find your web site and your style of writing like a breath of fresh air!
Thanks for being alive!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you,.....oh fine, you get the idea! Long have I searched for what seems to be (due to it's elusiveness) "unlawful carnal knowledge" of computer and [I]nternet basics. All the books (and that includes the "dummies" series) on the subjects seem to be written by inDUHviduals remunerated by the word and level of pomposity. And then I found YOU, my dear 'Daemon. This site is not only comprehensive but well constructed, the product of countless hours of labour no doubt, its a real jewel! Good-on-ya mate!!!!!
ever yours,The Vegtable Sadist

This is an awesome site! [..] the information here is so easy for me to understand. This will defintely be my place to learn. Thanks for making such a great site!
Great site!! I have just spent about 5 hours reading excessive amounts of information regarding just about any area of networking I could have dreamt of. All of your information is stated clearly and properly but without leaving out much of the "techy" side of things... a good mixture of "layman" info and more advanced info.
bhazelba sent us the following regarding our LAN to LAN Communication tutorial
InetDaemon,
Just wanted to send a quick thanks for answering a question that (to my knowledge) was not covered in [at least] 10 different CCNA resource guides! How does a MAC change in the ethernet header of a packet when going through routers? Couldn't find it anywhere [but here].
Thanks again!
Sylvia had a question on DNS, so we gave her some information and advice and asked her if it was what she needed. Here is her reply:
Yes, this is just the information I was looking for. I am in the process of making sure that everything works on the new site before making the switch [from my old site].
You've been extremely helpful, and I am very grateful. Kudos to your outstanding service!
Sincerely,
Sylvia
